Baking day: peach cobbler

Thursday's recipe comes from The Book of One Pot. Yesterday was the fullest day we'd had in a while. We were rushing to get the baking done so that we could get outside in the warm was a very nice day.

Only the boys were awake for baking, J woke up just in time. I don't think we've ever had all the kids in the kitchen at the same time - could be wrong though...
So you might be wondering what's so special about baking this month - after all we bake every week. Well, our book of the month is all about baking and eating yummy goodness , which is the best treat ever.
Forget the classic banana bread and muffins; we are branching out, exploring different kinds of recipes and ingredients too, and tasting new  yummy treats.

Have any of your stories inspired you to do something fun?

“A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank…but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child.”
