crazy pizza craft (book of the month activity)

The last 2 baking days in March will focus on our book of the month, Preschool to the Rescue by Judy Sierra and Will Hillenbrand. Read about the book here.
The kids are going to have a pizza party next week. I figured we would do our craft on our quiet day as making pizzas, and napping schedules will probably be an issue.

What you need:
paper plate - cut into quarters (or small pizza-like triangle shapes)
glitter paint - we used the paint palettes from painting day, so we didn't need to paint/design our dough. I simply ran the paper plate under the water so the paint would run)
crazy toppings (whatever you'd like) - we used yarn, felt, & ripped paper

talk to the kids about what a real pizza would look like...what about a "crazy" pizza?
pour glue onto paper plate...have the kids place toppings onto the glue
leave to dry

What a fun simple idea. Those pizza creations look great.
