March book of the month: Preschool to the rescue

Look Out!
There's a sleepy, creepy, deeper-than you'd think mud puddle on the preschool playground, and it has swallowed up a pizza van, a fire engine...even a tow truck! But don't worry, these clever preschoolers know just how to rescue them! Preschool to the Rescue by Judy Sierra and Will Hillenbrand is a fun book that teaches about community helpers.

I always try to set up for our reading/story with a few props that the kids can hold onto when we read..for our next activity all we have to do is go find a mud puddle and have some real fun!

I also love-absolutely love Judy Sierra's books, and I will probably showcase some more of her stories here. Visit her website here.

Did you read any books lately? Do you ever get down and dirty in the mud?

“A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank…but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child.”
