Soup day: turkey veggie outside with friends

Soup day...
Wash up
Turkey vegetable soup recipe
1 pound ground white turkey meat
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 jar/can pasta sauce
1 ¼ cup low sodium chicken broth
2 cups water
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp salt
2 cups of frozen vegetables of choice * I used peas, carrots & corn

1.Cooked/leftover turkey or substitute with chicken.
2. Add the jar of tomato sauce and add all other ingredients, except for veggies.

3. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, simmer stirring often, about 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Stir in  mixed veggies & return to boil.  Cover and simmer 10 more minutes.
