About the Book & Author
Written by Shelancia Daniel, a textile artist, designer, creative director and owner of EZ Kids and The Creativity Shell.  Shelancia began writing and sewing books for her own children and is grateful to share her first book with children everywhere!

Merry Christmas purple Dinosaur! is about a dinosaur who wants to make  Christmas special by visiting all her friends. Her friends live all over the world and speak many different languages, and celebrate Christmas in their own way. Purple Dinosaur brings gifts for her friends to enjoy, and is delighted when she gets an unexpected gift in return.

Merry Christmas Purple Dinosaur! is beautiful to look at. With stunningly-crafted illustrations and an introduction to various languages, the book is sprinkled with a tribute to different countries and cultures. The book draws each reader into the story, as if he or she were on a magical Christmas journey. This book is a keepsake!

Our favourite thing about the holidays is Christmas Eve. We host an open house style evening for our families. It fills our little home with joy, laughter and delicious food!

My favorite thing about the holidays would have to be the beautiful decorations.

My favorite thing about the holidays is taking MM to the airport on Christmas eve to pick up Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma and MM's interaction is worthy of an episode of "Hello Goodbye" and is priceless.

My favourite part of the holidays is the ambiance. The snow, the lights, the music, the smells... it creates this magic that transports me back to some of the fondest memories of my childhood. I am looking forward to sharing this magic with our daughter and creating new holiday memories in the coming years!
