I never feel as if I am teaching, until I am teaching math. Teaching math is fun until they find out that everyone thinks math is hard, OR ONLY for boys, OR only for smart people.
He loves math. He sleeps with his calculator...3 or 4 if he has a chance.
A lot of unschooling happens when the babies are napping - not often these days. Learning is so empowering; I see it every single day.
He's ready for school, I am not ready to let him go, but he will do great.
What the camera does not capture is his ability to compare, and reason, and articulate. Small wonders everywhere...
