A Turkish delight smoothie, however, is not bad at all. All you need are a few ingredients and rosewater. We picked some strawberries from our backyard, and added some more frozen berries.
I grew up with a backyard full of fruits and veggies...apples, pears, plums, peaches, grapes, many types of berries, plus a load of veggies. Boy did I take that for granted. Now I feel so lucky to go out back with the kids, and get a few berries and herbs. I guess I should say "thanks mom...". I never realized her effort...
I'll have to write another post about how we are using the herbs and fruits (right now only strawberries), from our own garden. Pretty amazing for the kids to be able to do that :)
Back to the yummy smoothie...
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups of strawberries or raspberries
1 1/2 cups of mango
1 1/2 teaspoons of rose water
1 can of coconut milk
*Whipped cream - optional
Instructions
blend all ingredients until smooth
drop a dollop of whipped cream on top
serve & enjoy
