It was on our winter bucketlist, but I didn't think we would get around to having our picnic in the park . I packed our wicker basket the night before, but it fell apart just before we left...seems someone sat on it. Besides that, no hiccups.
It was a bit windy, but we found a good spot. in the lovely gazebo
We packed our yummy treats in these; read this book, and ate some yummy treats.
Then the kids played soccer, made cute chalk designs on rocks, and collected small rocks for next week's painting activity.

I love the pictures of the little ones in hats! And the park looks like a great place for climbing with all those large rocks and boulders.
I also love your blogs header. :)

Looks like you had a lovely day! Thanks for linking to the #outdoorplayparty.
What a perfect day you got for your outdoor picnic, I always think the children eat much better outside. Thanks so much for linking up Salma, Kierna
I love the easy outdoor fun you create for the children here, plenty of scope to develop their imaginations and grab some much needed fresh air too. I look forward to the painting activity too, did you see the Rock bugs i highlighted on Country Kids this week? They would be perfect for you. Thank you for sharing your day with me on Country Kids.
Picnics are lovely, aren't they! We've had a few inside picnics over the winter. Your photos are fab! #countrykids
Same reason why we are looking forward to a warmer weather, picnics! We love doing this outside. We live near the beach and we cant wait till we can go there with our own food and have a picnic again.
Your trip looks so much fun! That weather is so gorgeous for such activity =) #countrykids
